Moroccan people are known for their hospitality towards others and also with each other. We cannot mention Moroccans without talking about their generosity because they always strive to do everything that will make their visitors happy.

The Language

The main language is Arabic, and in some places, speakers speak Amazigh languages such as “Tamazight,Tachelhit and Tarifit.” French is a second language because of historical ties and is commonly used in education and business, but many Moroccans prefer to speak and use English.

Traditions:

Morocco’s traditions are reflected in its cuisine, music, and celebrations. For example, its cuisine is famous for special dishes like “Tajine,” “Couscous,” and “Mint Tea.” In terms of music, Moroccans are known for genres such as “Chaabi,” “Gnawa,” “Aarab Andalussy,” and “Aabidat Rma“. As for celebrations, they observe occasions like “Aïd al-Adha,” “Ashoura,” “Ramadan,” and various regional festivities.

Religion

Islam is their religion, and it plays an important role in their daily lives. For example, they pray five times a day and fast during Ramadan. They express their faith through their actions by respecting other religions and treating each other with humility and support, as recommended by Islam.
